Tough guys. The classic whodunit. Wise-ass detectives who are scrupulously honest and as incorruptable as Coptic monks residing in mountain top monasteries. Writers like Earl Derr Biggers (the creator of Charlie Chan), Raymond Chandler (and his character, Phillip Marlowe) and Dashiell Hammett (creator of Nick and Nora Charles and Sam Spad ie., The Thin Man and The Maltese Falcon) invented this genre.
My contribution happens to be two homicide detectives by the name of Turner Hahn and Frank Morales. Hahn looks like a 1930's movie matinee idol and happens to be rather wealthy. He collects American-made Muscle Cars of the 50's through the 70's, is divorced, lives by himself, and has a terrible time finding a woman to date. Odd, if you consider he has money and good looks.

Two cops. Four brutal homicides. No one in the department wants to tackle'em. So they're assigned to Turner and Frank.
Just another day at the office for detectives Turner Hahn and Frank Morales. Price: $20.00 from PublishAmerica.
The second book in the series. Turner and Frank must work through two complex cases, with one involving the Mossad, the FBI, and a long thought-dead Nazi organization called The Odessa. Someone killed an eighty year old German Jew holocaust victim execution-style. Finding the answers as to why he had to die becomes an exercise in digging up long forgotten nightmares.
Frank is a modern day version of a Neanderthal--except he has an IQ that rival's an Einstein. And he's more than just Turner's side-kick. He has his own cases to solve and he is good at what he does.
If you like good noir fiction from by-gone days, you'll love this series. And stay tuned! A Taste of Old Revenge will soon be out!
Nine short-stories featuring Turner and Frank. Nine dark tales that will remind you of the classic noir stories of an earlier time. Formatted for the Kindle and other e-readers at Amazon or at Smashwords.
